New to Webidz

I like most people have gone in search of a new place to sell my second hand items, a find some good deals on other items. I am currently selling on Ebay and have gotten to the point of their policies have gotten crazy. With all of their fees and now the recent change to feedback I am about done doing business with Ebay.

I just wanted to stop by and say hello to everyone and I look forward to listing some items that people can use and will enjoy and finding some great new treasures of my own.

Now on to the business at hand. This will only be the second site that I have ever used to help supliment my families income (we all know how crazy things are these days). What I have done in the past is list items fairly inexpensive but selling alot. From what I have read it is ok to list things for $1.00 but can you go cheaper then that? I sell alot of previously worn clothing, mostly infant and children's and know what I am willing to pay for items so I would like to pass the savings on to people who bid on my auctions. I see people on Ebay asking $ 5.00 for a used infant's t shirt and think it is totally crazy. Kids clothes are expensive as it is and why would I buy from an online auction if I can't get a deal.

Ok, sorry to be rambling, just to warn you I will probably do that alot and have some questions along the way too. Hope to speak to everyone soon.

Is there an easy way to let my previous customers know that I am now selling here? Since I don't have a store can I just give them the link to the site and will they be able to find me with my user name?

You can either list the link to the site or do a store too and give them your link for that! Small stores are Free for i believe 200 items! Easy to list on there too! Just start a store and when you list a item click Both Store and Site!

store home page Then look on the top address bar that is you address to your store
just copy and paste it in your email to your buyers hope this helps and i believe that you
can and you could give them the address to each item and you find that address the same way

Welcome to our home and now yours Amanda. If you plan to list, you might as well open a free store, you can have up to 250 items in it.....and then as many "auctions" as you want to list.
Ask away with the questions, we have awsome members who are more than willing to help.

You can give them your user name,but you should open a store, start with the Free one until you get some listing going. You could even send you old customers a link to one of you webidz auctions , then they could view your other items.

Well I think I am doing something wrong with trying to start my store. I searched for my store name and nothing is listed.

The serch is pretty much for items and sellers and won't show stores! Admin is working on a differant system! If you go to your account then click on my store then Main settings your store address will be there in blue and you can give that to your customers!

I went and clicked on my link and my store doesn't have the neat banner with the store name like yours does. My 6 items that I currently have listed are in there but no banner. I thought I set it up to have one.

One of the girls will get you a banner code! It is differant one! Go to lobby thread and ask for a store banner code and someone will get it for you!
