I'm not sure if this is where I need to request help with getting a banner for my store I created. If not sorry and could someone please point me in the right direction for it?

I feel really dumb. I appreciate the help and your directions are very clearly spelled out. But of course I can't get it to work. Once I do what you said if I go to my store and click on the link with my url should I be able to see the box? There was a banner with smiley faces all over it that I tried and it showed up but I can't get this one to work. Sorry to be a pain.

Amanda, I clicked on the graphic in your post and it is going straight to your store.

If your going to use a banner in your store you will need to use HTML. You would first click on the "<>" icon and then add in the following code, but take out the word test and add in your links instead of the example ones.

Now, if I want my customers in Ebay to also see that I am now selling here can I use this link to have the graphic come up in my auctions? I tried to copy and paste the link above and it didn't bring the picture just the link as it is typed. I'm sorry I am not very computer savy. Or is it better just to take the link that is on my store page and copy and paste that to current auctions in Ebay?

Amanda, You can try to put your banner for WeBidz into your listings on Ebay, But I can guarantee you that Ebay will pull your listings, as it is a violation of policy. Just like we don't want you putting links to Ebay in your listings here.

At least we ask you first to remove links to other auction sites, Ebay won't , someone over there will report your listing and it will be pulled with no explanation.

P.S. Your banner for WeBidz works perfectly.

Wasn't sure about the about me page over there. Thought I read somewhere that they were not liking that either, but I could be mistaken.

All I knew was they wouldn't allow it in the auctions themselves.

Yeah i have links on mine and they (ebay) have never said anything to me about it, unless ebay has changed it the last couple of months.
I also use yuwie.com --its a social site like myspace but you get paid based on your page views, but the good part is that you can really connect with people who are looking for new and better websites, like Webidz. So that makes it a great place to advertise your webidz store.

They are in the process (at ebay) of making sellers remove ALL outside
referrals to other sites and even sellers web sites. They are going to lose even more
stores because of this. We have discussed this extensively on powersellersunite.com
in the past few weeks..I would say NO do NOT put them anywhere at ebay.
(JMHO) We just do not want anyone losing time/money as a result of using banners/etc.
at ebay.

Well I did it to 2 of my auctions there and they haven't been pulled yet. I guess I should go ahead and take them off and then just send email to people who have recently purchaed from me. Thanks for the insight.

Amanda, Weather you do or not, is certainly up to you, but now with this
new 'DONNA-WHO' regime, all sorts of nasty tactics on their part are possible.

BTW, did you know that folks (sellers) that receive a neutral at feebay are being
issued a strike point just like a negative. (I know one man there that has had 3 neutrals
in the last 12 months and his feedback went from 100% to 97 something%)..! How can
they do THAT?? :mad:
