I have used Google Ads before, and I think there is an option to turn off any ads that you do not wish to appear on your site. For example WeBidz can turn off any auction site not to appear on their site. I have observed, and I have seen so many different Google Ads auctions sites appearing on WeBidz site.

I was just wondering whether this Google Ads auctions sites will not be drawing buyers to another another auctions site. To be honest with you, I have clicked on one of these auctions site to check them out. Even eBay ads appears on this site.

Can admin please look into this? We need buyers to remain here, not sending buyers to another auctions site.

Thank you, and have a good day.

Google has the ability to turn off specific sites, but not keywords. So regardless of how many sites get added to the list, ebay text will always show at one time or another. Many times it leads to an unrelated site, as they are just using the keywords as they are popular. Even adding sites to the dissallowed list, these still appear at times. So basically, the blocked list for Google does not really work.

Unfortunately these ads are needed to keep the site operating and growing, as these ads currently support about 50% of the sites operational budget. Yes, there are going to be some customers that get led away from the site (currently about 2/3 of a percent). Which some come back to the site, so this number is even lower in regards to lost traffic. The traffic we gain from the revenues created by Google are very significant, so we feel the trade is very well worth it.

So basically, if we removed such ads we would be getting less traffic, and our budget would basically be cut in half.

We do not advertise on any auction sites that I know of ( I may be wrong), but we have many other sites that we advertise on. We feel advertising on alternative auction sites would be targeting sellers, which is not the demographics we are looking for. Most alternative auction sites are targeting sellers, and the majority of their traffic is the same. We would rather have 1,000 buyers for xxx dollars, than have 1,000 sellers for xxx dollars. If we can continue to build our buyer base, sellers will naturally flock to WeBidz.

The thing is James If your with Google ad sence or ect your advetisment does go on simular sites! One of my stores is like that! If i'm on a motorcycle page in my store, Google will have ads buy motorcycle sellers
