Hey there! I was wondering if there were going to be upgrades on the search box, or if maybe I'm using it wrong! I notice that when I search for a specific item that I want, I get anything that has any of those words in it- so it's not using the specific word string. I was looking for matrix hair products and it showed me some book on organic lawn care. Is there a way to get the specific item I want, like should I be using quotes? Or is this just something that I need to learn how to work with? Thanks!

Hey Kapu and welcome to you. Admin will be in soon to explain this
better to you, but I do know that the 'search' is one of the things on his 'to do'
list.It does return too many items and I know what you mean. I make a point of
using as FEW words as possible and it does help a bit.
Like I said he can explain it all much better, though.

KAPU! What i do is take a word here and there of what your looking for like put matrix only in there! If that doen't work do matrix hair! Try to use a not so common word when doing the search like matrix not very common

We are aware that search is a functionality that has much room for improvement and this is something that is being worked on.

For now we recommend doing basic searches (from the toolbar), as basic searches will search titles only, and advances searches will search titles and descriptions for any of the terms entered. Since our search looks for any of the words entered, we recommend using a single word that best describes the product you are looking for.

You can also navigate to the category that the type of item you are looking for should be in, then do a basc category search for your item. So a search in health and beauty for "matrix" will not return any movie titles.
