Thumbs down A Big Don't For Xp Users!

Guys If you are using XP and it wants to update you to Explorer 8, DO NOT DO IT! It made our pc slower andfreeze up once a while. So i went to Micro community help and looked up Explorer 8 and boy are there people having alot of problems with it!
So if your pc is slow and acting up and you have Explorer 8 on it, get it off now!

Go to your Control Panel and click on Add & Remove Programs! When that comes up there is a box to check saying (show all updates) Check it! Scroll down to Internet Explorer 8 and click on it and then click Remove!
Follow the instructions to get it off! Then restart pc and click on Internet Explorer and a page will come up saying Wellcome to Explorer 7, There it ask if you want to save your settings, Click Yes and BAM! Your back to Explorer 7!
Lots faster now that were back to #7

Hi all!

I am not sure about you all..... but I stay away from IE anything.... I actually use Opera for a browser, Eudora for a mail client.... and I have a dual setup (Windows XP/Linux). No noticeable speed difference, but as soon as I ran IE8 (as a test)..... I was crawwwwwwllllling.

The thing is.... I can't wait to try Windows 7 - I wonder.......

Talking Re: A Big Don't For Xp Users!

LOL,
I switched to windows 8 several months ago,
and all of a sudden I was having all kinds of problems.
Called my computer geek son, and had to listen to him go on and on
about not changing anything on my computer without checking with him first.
Seems those in the know, know all about the problems with win.8
